The Irish Room shows the variety of animals found on this island or in our seas from the prehistoric Giant Irish Deer to recent arrivals such as American Mink, which escaped from fur farms to breed in the wild. Regular favourites include the Badgers, Foxes and the Basking Shark hanging from the ceiling. Watch out for the large Sunfish and the Eel that choked on a frog!
