...Thus, an interesting and precious collection came into being, comprising more than 3500 objets d’art – paintings, statues and prints - that can be divided into several interrelated units. The finest and most interesting works of this collection were chosen for the purpose of our exhibition in order to demonstrate, by means of their artistic variability, changes of the artistic creation in terms of genre, content or theme. Moreover, they convey different artistic conceptions used by masters in dealing with artistic challenges that were set and determined by social changes in the course of several centuries...
