The Event Returns To Birmingham Today
Today sees the return of The Event to Birmingham’s Eastside, a five day contemporary arts festival showcasing the best in artist-led activity. Bringing together artists, curators and artist-led projects, visitors are encouraged to immerse themselves in challenging artworks indoors and out.
This is the second contemporary arts festival organised by Birmingham Contemporary Art Forum and presents more than 100 artists throughout Birmingham’s Eastside district. Several new spaces will be open to the public for the first time including Grand Union on Fazeley Street; 119 Floodgate Street will temporarily accommodate Mona Casey Projects; and Crowd6 take over The Lombard Method on 68a Lombard Street.
