After living in London for a year, New York still has the edge when it comes to the thrill of being in the ultimate cosmopolitan city. Everything you feel like doing is at your finger tips, just a call or a short walk or cab ride away.

I have lived in New York for a total of 16 years during many different times of my life, and it always seems that sooner or later I want to move back!

The highlight was a Sunday day trip by helicopter to my friend Daniele Bodini’s horse farm in Millbrook in upstate New York.

Priceless pictures of my two year old circling the Statue of Liberty at sunset. Lunched downtown at Balthazar (always good) and uptown at Geisha, Amaranth and Hatsuhana.
