Katzensee is a lake on the border of the city of Zurich and Regensdorf in the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland. Its surface area is 0.36 km².

The model steam railway guarantees lots of fun there. The model is built on a scale 1:6 and the train goes around the Restaurant Waldhaus Katzensee. The railway is open on weekends from April to October, provided the weather is fine.
